Created by Vikram Aruchamy, Modified on Thu, 4 Jan at 1:06 PM by Vikram Aruchamy

1. Sign in to GitLab: On the left sidebar, select your avatar.

2. Select Edit profile.

3. On the left sidebar, select Access Tokens and select Add new token.

  1. Enter a name and expiry date for the token.
  2. The token expires on that date at midnight UTC.
  3. If you do not enter an expiry date, the expiry date is automatically set to 365 days later than the current date.
  4. By default, this date can be a maximum of 365 days later than the current date.
  5. Select the API scope.

4. Select Create personal access token. You can use this token and configure the GitLab repository in the Docs to Markdown Pro Add on.

5. Save the personal access token somewhere safe. After you leave the page, you no longer have access to the token.
